Mary Claire Crow has been a nature lover all of her life. Blessed to have been born before our video and computer age, she spent the majority of her childhood outside, exploring little worlds and making mud pies. As a child she dreamed of becoming a teacher who would influence others to love all things uninterrupted by the modern world.

"Today, I still enjoy exploring and observing the natural world. My images teach others to appreciate nature and hopefully inspire them to get out and experience it for themselves. Some of my most favorite subjects to document are fog, water and light patterns, the life cycle of flowers, animals and life in the garden.

While I have been an artist with a camera all of my life, I have embraced this medium full time since 2001 when I started a portrait and wedding business. Today, while I still document the occasional wedding (I do like people and love) and a few family histories (babies, kids and their parents), my concentration is on nature and animals. I shoot almost everyday, producing sweet visions for all to enjoy." Mary Claire Crow
